About This Course
Behaviour modification is an approach to modifying negative behaviour into positive behaviour. According to B.F Skinner, a behaviour can be shaped through reinforcement and/or punishment. This course is conducted in bilingual (English and Malay language) to discuss ways to modify behaviour in young children. There are three main factors to consider while modifying behaviour: managing the antecedents, the behaviour and the consequences. This course is divided into 11 parts to discuss further the factors in modifying behaviour.
