About This Course

The parent-teacher conferences are vital for parents to stay informed about their child’s progress in school. The conferences allow parents to meet their child’s teacher to discuss academic performance, social skills, and other concerns. The conferences serve as a platform for parents and teachers to collaborate to help the child to succeed. Attending the conferences provides comfort and assurance for children that their parents are interested in their progress in school.

This course is divided into six (6) parts; each discusses the stages of the parent-teacher conference guidelines.

Part 1 –  What is a Parent-Teacher Conference?

Part 2 – Stage 1: Advance Preparation

Part 3 – Stage 2: Setting the Stage

Part 4 – Stage 3: Talking to Parents

Part 5 – Stage 4: Content
