JPNPP Series: Investigating Problem Behaviour: Case Vignettes by Datin Indranee Liew

Detecting the causes of behaviour in children is important for several reasons. First, it helps educators, parents, and caregivers better understand the child's needs and respond appropriately. Second, identifying the underlying causes of behaviour can help prevent future incidents. Finally, understanding the causes of behaviour in children can help educators, parents, and caregivers develop appropriate interventions and supports to help the child manage their behaviour positively and healthily. In this course, the instructor discusses four (4) case vignettes for educators to apply when encountering a similar situation.
