About This Course
Language development is vital in a child’s development. Language helps a child to communicate, and it supports their ability to think, understand, express, solve problems, and maintain relationships. This course is divided into four (4) subtopics to address young children’s language development.

Subtopic 3 – Language Skills for Young Children
This subtopic explains about five language skills in the early childhood setting. Through this subtopic, educators and parents will understand how each language skill compliments children's language development.
